"Radiating Grace"

                                            Light Blessings & My Experiences In Light              Light Blessings  is how I usually sign anything, so I thought I would use this blog to explain what that means to me and why I think it important to share.  I have had two what I call  " Experiences in Light"  at very different times in my life.  One was when I was still in college, which changed my life and another many years later when I was studying at Unity Village, which, again, changed my life. To my way of thinking,  Light Blessings, honors both and I am also adding something else which is why it is Light Blessings rather than Blessings of Light.          Another very important idea to me is a sense of Lightness , as in " Angels Can Fly Because They Take Themselves Lightly"  coupled with the idea of being " Light As A Feather," calling to mind the Egyptian ritual of weighing the heart against a feather and only those whose hearts that were as

                                          "To Jay, (Sehorn) With Love"      Yesterday while back in my hometown for the first time in many a year, I spent a delightful afternoon at an outdoor cafe, Guinevere's, enjoying the sun, special food and fresh flowers.  And directly in my line of sight and next door loomed the old Woodland Daily Democrat offices where Jay Sehorn had worked and been editor many, many years ago, calling up childhood memories, especially of Jay.     Jay. who had been so much a part of my life those many years ago, still shaped my perception even now. This adopted only child with no known heritage,  by three had been graced with this most magnificent of gifts--Love, unconditional love, that amazing magic wand,   plus delight in her very being.      With a bow to "To Sir, With Love," I cannot even imagine my life and how different it would have been without Jay and that gift.  With that gift, much like a near-death experience, I saw an

                                                        " RADIATING GRACE" " EACH MOMENT THE UNIVERSE IS MAKING YOU AN IRRESISTIBLE OFFER"      This amazing quote is where one of those Chapters  in my life began.  I attended Unity Village, took some classes and my metaphysics teacher explained that he was also minister of the original Unity Church in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.  A group of us from the class decided to attend the Sunday service and there were some old tapes of talks given there, so I purchased and picked up a few with titles that spoke to me.  This quote was on one of those tapes.       While I have shared it far and wide, my metaphysics teacher/minister does not remember even saying it.  And on the June 6th date, the date I am now writing this, Alan Cohen in his book,  A Deep Breath of Life,  used it since I had shared it with him while he was there at Unity Village that year.      Interesting, too, Rev.
